Five Offices Across the UK

Our landscaping teams operate from five offices across England, providing national coverage with local knowledge. Penrith (head office, Cumbria and the North), Castleford (Yorkshire and the North East), Runcorn (North West and North Wales), Milton Keynes (South East and East Anglia) and the West Midlands, where our Severndale contract-grow nursery supports large-scale planting programmes across the region and beyond.

Common Questions About Our Landscaping Services

What does NHSS 18 accreditation mean for landscaping?
NHSS (National Highways Sector Schemes) 18A, 18B and 18C cover soft landscaping, hard landscaping and landscape maintenance on the strategic road network. Holding all three confirms that our teams, processes and quality systems meet the standards required to work on motorways, trunk roads and other National Highways assets. For contractors delivering highway schemes, appointing an NHSS-accredited subcontractor satisfies a key compliance requirement.
Do you cover landscaping projects in southern England?
Yes. Our Milton Keynes office covers the South East, Home Counties and East Anglia, and our West Midlands base extends our reach across central and southern England. We regularly deliver landscaping contracts from the M25 corridor through to the South West, and our five-office structure means we can mobilise teams to any location in England and Wales.
How does your contract-grow nursery benefit our project?
Our Severndale nursery in Shrewsbury allows us to grow trees, shrubs and hedging to your specification well in advance of planting season. This reduces reliance on third-party availability, gives us direct control over stock quality and biosecurity, and means we can align nursery production with your construction programme. For large schemes requiring thousands of plants, contract-growing removes a common supply chain risk.
What specialist plant and equipment do you use for landscaping?
We invest in specialist plant suited to landscaping in challenging environments. Our fleet includes Metrac mountain tractors for steep and inaccessible terrain, robotic mowers for ongoing maintenance, hydroseeding units for large-scale grass and wildflower establishment, and ultra-low ground pressure (ULGP) plant for working on soft or sensitive ground. This equipment allows us to take on projects that many landscaping contractors cannot.
What is your typical tender and mobilisation process?
We assign a dedicated contracts manager at tender stage who remains with the project through to completion. This means the person who understands the pricing, methodology and programme is the same person managing the work on site. Once a contract is awarded, we can typically mobilise within two to four weeks depending on scale, drawing on our regional offices and in-house nursery to assemble the right team and materials.
