About the Role

We are recruiting a grounds maintenance operative to join our Milton Keynes team, delivering scheduled grounds care and vegetation management services across Southern and Eastern England. You will work on a range of commercial, educational and public open space contracts, carrying out grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming and general grounds maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Carry out scheduled grass cutting programmes using ride-on and pedestrian mowers
Trim hedges, edges and borders to specification
Strim around obstacles, fence lines and hard-to-reach areas
Clear litter, leaves and debris from maintained areas
Operate and carry out daily checks on all plant and equipment
Report any defects, hazards or issues to the site supervisor
Follow all health and safety procedures and environmental protocols

About You

You will have experience in commercial grounds maintenance and be competent with a range of mowing, strimming and hedge cutting equipment. You are reliable, take pride in presenting grounds to a high standard, and are comfortable working outdoors year-round.

Required Certifications

CSCS card or equivalent
Full UK driving licence
