About the Role
We are offering an apprenticeship opportunity for someone looking to start a career in commercial landscaping. Based at our Milton Keynes office, you will work alongside experienced landscaping operatives on live projects across Southern and Eastern England, learning practical skills on site while studying towards a recognised qualification through day release at college.
What You Will Learn
Soft landscape construction including planting, turfing, seeding and mulching
Ground preparation, soil handling and earthworks
Use of hand tools, small plant and landscaping equipment
How to read and work from landscape drawings and specifications
Health and safety in a construction environment
Plant identification and aftercare techniques
Working as part of a team on commercial sites
About You
You will be enthusiastic, hard-working and keen to learn a trade in an outdoor environment. No prior experience is required, but a genuine interest in landscaping, horticulture or the outdoor environment is essential. You should be physically fit and comfortable working in all weather conditions.
Required Certifications
No formal qualifications required
GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4 or above) preferred
Full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential)
